We lucked out with a gorgeous spring morning and 35 people showed up to run the April Fools Day Fun Run.  Since it was a very low key event, I think everyone had fun and I did not even hear complaints about the course.  In case you couldn't figure out from my previous descriptions, the course had a little bit of uphill in the beginning, then a whole lot of down hill--then the runners turned around and had a whole lot of uphill, then a little down hill.  One runner (not to mention any names-Virginia) said I reinvented the Four Hills course, but she did allow that probably it just felt that way because it was spring and she had not been running much :-)

I would like to extend a huge thank you to the volunteers who helped out on Saturday -- some of whom were recruited on the spot!  Never ask me if you can do anything to help unless you mean it-- I always have a job for anyone who asks!!

The volunteers were: Dave Eggler, Greg Fredericks, Carol and Steve Gentry, Brian Erwin, Mark Ashby, Mrs. Hutchinson (I think her name is Ann), the youngest Eck boy who helped hand out gliders to the kids and awards, and I did not get the name of the other lady who helped at an intersection whose husband ran.   Thanks so much to all of you.
